The City had an excellent turnout at last night’s meeting! We’d like to thank everyone who took the time out of their schedules to help participate in this workshop.
Laurel Berman of the ATSDR is collected notes and will analyze the findings with the City in the near future to help narrow down ideas for the next workshop, which will occur in 4-6 weeks.
The City would like to remind everyone that this coming Wednesday, June 10 a Community Health Workshop will take place from 6:15PM – 8:45PM at the Blue Island Public Library (2433 York Street).
We’ll discuss issues and concerns relating to public health in Blue Island and propose ideas on how to address them. If you’re curious about public health or have an issue you’d like to cover and wish to improve your community, please join us! Call Mary Poulsen at (708) 396-7035 to RSVP.
