The 2009 USEPA Cleanup Grant application was submitted on July 8, 2009. The USEPA will review our work plan an application documents in the next few weeks and will reply with their approval.
Following their response, the City will be able to get moving on this next phase in our Brownfields Initiative.
The City held a meeting this past Wednesday with Delta & AECOM, along with the guidance of CNT to help select two sites to receive Phase II testing.
We came to an agreement and selected two sites, but it will be quite some time before they can be named “official”.
As always, the City will keep you posted as this portion of the project progresses.
