A public meeting regarding the former Manufactured Gas Plant (MGP) Site will be held tonight at the First Lutheran Church, 2519 Grove Street, from 5:30-7:30 PM.
The meeting will be hosted by Stantec who will perform the future remediation efforts at the site.
All are welcome to attend.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: As mentioned in previous posts and the September 2nd edition of the Forum, please make note that the ABCA Public Meeting scheduled for tonight, 9/21, has been CANCELED. Even though the meeting will not be held tonight, it will be rescheduled in the near future.

The Comment Period for the Analysis of Brownfields Cleanup Alternatives is now open.

As reported in the last post on August 25th, the comment period starts today, September 3, 2009 and will end October 2, 2009. The ABCA will be available in paper form as well at the Community Develompent Department in City Hall, as well as the Blue Island Public Library, during normal operating hours.
